CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY
The certificate includes the following information :
• Title of artwork ,
• Name of the artist and contact information
• Time of production
• Dimension of artwork
• Materials and techniques used in creating the piece
• Number of artwork in the catalog raisonné of the artist
• Medium and materials of the print (type of paper, printer, ink, printing technique, colour management)
• Additional elements and materials that are part of the artwork (e.g. framing)
• Names of people and companies involved in process of creation and production (artists, publishers, laboratory / printing )
• Type and total size of an edition
• The number of the particular print within the edition (e.g. 02/25)
• Name, location and contact of the publisher
Each certificate is signed by the artist.

CATALOGUE RAISONNÈ
Each artwork and print that is shown and sold on werkwahl.com is listed and registered in the catalogue raisonné of the artist. A catalogue raisonné provides information about works of art, size, date of work, medium, current location, provenance, full description of the work and so on. The catalogue also indicates the circulation of an artwork whether printed editions (originals and reproductions) or publications in books and magazines.
Registration
As a buyer of artworks from werkwahl.com you have the option to register the purchase of your work at the catalogue raisonné. If you register you will be listed next to the artwork and artworks corresponding registration number as the legitimate buyer / owner of the work. This step provides an additional security of authentication issues. We respect your privacy and do not publish names and specific data of registered buyers. Registration is free of charge.
Transfer
If you sell, give away or bequeath the work one day, the new owner can also be entered in the artists' directory. Given the evidence of a transfer of the work is required, e.g. by contract of sale, deed of gift, certificate of inheritance as well as the original certificate of authenticity and the original sales receipt.
